Bachelorette Party For Natalie!

The youngest member of our group is getting married! We had a fun party tonight with yummy fondue, silly games, and wonderful friends.

They showed the video of our talent contest entry along with those of the 4 other community choice finalists. How awesome is that?! The only thing that would have made it better is if we'd been able to attend BlizzCon. :) We'll have to save our pennies so we can do that in the future.

We had an incredible experience making our costumes, doing hair and makeup, recording vocals, and shooting the video for the contest. Thanks Blizzard, for the opportunity!

Voting Results for "Lament of the Higborne" Blizzcon Talent Contest 2013!

We just found out the results of the talent contest. We came in 4th place in the U.S. polls and 3rd place in the EU polls! So exciting!

Of course we would have liked to have won, but all of the talents were awesome and we're happy for the group who came in first. We had a lot of fun participating in the contest and stretching ourselves to do something we've never done before.

Thanks for a wonderful opportunity Blizzard! And thank you to all who voted. We appreciate your support and kind comments.

Last month at the Salt Lake City Comic Con 2013! 

Someday we'll save enough money to travel to, and attend, BlizzCon in California.

Music Video - "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" for the "DoTerra's Got Talent 2013" Contest!

What a fun experience to participate in this talent contest! The "Wizard of Oz" is our Mom's favorite movie. It was awesome to be able to do this video as a small thank you to her for the support and love she's always shown for us.

Tiffany recorded the vocal track for us on August 11th.
Mom (Cynthia Gale) and our friend Phillip Stevens did the video recording on August 19th.
Tanya edited the video for us that night!
Our dresses were made by Mom and Christina.

Our entry for Blizzcon's 2013 Talent Contest.

We did the singing and made all the costumes and jewelry. Mom and Phillip (our friend) did the videography. Tanya put everything together and worked her magic to create the video.

We watched a few videos: Pre-Screening of "Lament of the Highborne", "Making of", and "Bloopers".

We snacked on delicious popcorn made by Cynthia Gale and Samuel Gale-Hess.

Busy day! We're excited about the pre-screening party tomorrow. :)

...And, we're getting ready for another contest! We recorded the vocal track for "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" tonight. It turned out really well. We're planning to shoot the music video next week. We'll be sure to post the final product next month!

A Logo for GaleSong

We have a band logo!

Christina enjoys doing graphic design and wanted us to have something fun for our business cards. She combined the letters "G" and "S" of GaleSong for a simple logo, and then added a staff, music notes, swirls, hearts, flowers, and other fun designs for another, more stylized version.

Today we did a mini music video shoot. This one is for the Blizzard Talent Contest (our other video shoot is for the Blizzard Movie Contest). We did our own makeup, setup the cameras, and Mom and Phillip did the filming.
