Music Video: "The Twink" for the BlizzCon 2016 Talent Contest

We're so excited to show you our newest video, "The Twink"! This is our cover of the fantastic Andrews Sisters' "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy". We changed the lyrics so they'd relate to one of our favorite games, "World of Warcraft". Enjoy!

This is our entry for the 2016 Blizzcon Talent competition. We have enjoyed entering each year and are happy to have all of our sisters in our submission this year. We had a lot of fun rewriting the words to Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy into a World of Warcraft theme. Our group consists of our 5 sisters: Christina, Tanya, Tamara, Tiffany, and Natalie.

Video Shoot: "The Twink", for the BlizzCon 2016 Talent Contest

The big day is finally here; it's time for the video shoot! It was a long, awesome, whirlwind day. Why do we always rush at the last minute? I guess we work best under pressure. :)

What do you think of our newest favorite picture?!

Getting ready: brunch by Tamara, backdrop and lighting by Tanya, hair by Natalie, costuming by Christina, makeup by Tanya. (Behind the scenes: video by Mom and Phillip, child wrangling by Keith and Dad, music preparation by Tiffany)

Having fun between takes:

I don't even know what we're doing here. Buncha goofs!

 1940's Glamour Shots:

Look at these darling costumes! (The girls are pretty cute too!)

"Sisters, sisters, there were never such devoted sisters..."

And, we're done! Time to celebrate.

It was a long, hot day, but we had a lot of fun and were so glad to finish the video part of the project. A couple of our members are pregnant with their 2nd children (Tamara and Natalie), and one of our members is nursing a baby (Christina). They were troopers!

Now the hard work begins for Tanya and Tiffany, who will be working on the video editing and uploading over the next few days. They do such an amazing job!

Tune in next week for the final project!

Here's our newest video!

This is our entry for the Blizzcon 2015 Talent Contest. We wrote lyrics and the arrangement for Temple of the Moon. We created our own costumes, did our own makeup and hair. Videography was done by our sweet mother Cynthia and brother in law Phillip. Audio and video editing was done by Tanya and Tiffany Gale. We had a wonderful time creating this video. We hope you like it :)

Video Shoot: "Temple of the Moon" for BlizzCon 2015 Talent Contest

Today was a stressful, awesome, beautiful day for recording our latest video, "Temple of the Moon"!

We did our hair, makeup, and costuming this morning and recorded the video in the evening at nearby Utah Lake. It was a beautiful location for our video! Thankfully, the wind mostly cooperated and added to the effect. :)

Lovely evening:

Being silly before the video shoot:

Smiling at the end of a great shoot:

It was a long day for everyone, but especially our 8-month-pregnant sister (Christina). Those rocks aren't very comfortable!

And a special thank you to: Mom (Cynthia) and brother-in-law Phillip for videography, and Dad (Craig) and brother-in-law Keith for watching kiddos!

Video Shoot - "Nightsong", for the Blizzcon 2014 Talent Contest

Today we shot the video for our entry into the Blizzcon 2014 Talent Contest!

It was a crazy day. We finished sewing our costumes in the morning, did our hair and makeup in the afternoon, and shot the video tonight...in a thunderstorm!

The weather was cloudy when we started shooting but as the evening approached, so did a huge storm. Thanks to our awesome family for sticking it out with us (and risking their lives holding up umbrellas in the rain to shield the cameras).

Stay tuned for the video in a few weeks. :)

A couple of pics of us turning in our quest items (we went full out this year; notice our awesome elf ears?!):

And one of us in the thunderstorm. It's bright because there was a big bolt of lightening as this pic was taken!

LIVE at BlizzCon 2013! Talent Contest Finalists!

LIVE from BlizzCon 2013 in Anaheim, California!

They showed the video of our talent contest entry along with those of the 4 other community choice finalists. How awesome is that?! The only thing that would have made it better is if we'd been able to attend BlizzCon. :) We'll have to save our pennies so we can do that in the future.

Screenshots of our music video being played at BlizzCon:

So fun to see us on that huge screen!

We had an incredible experience making our costumes, doing hair and makeup, recording vocals, and shooting the video for the contest. Thanks Blizzard, for the opportunity!

Here's the clip from our video being shown at BlizzCon 2013:

Music Video - "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" for the "DoTerra's Got Talent 2013" Contest!

What a fun experience to participate in this talent contest! The "Wizard of Oz" is our Mom's favorite movie. It was awesome to be able to do this video as a small thank you to her for the support and love she's always shown for us.

Enjoy!

About the video:
Tiffany recorded the vocal track for us on August 11th.
Mom (Cynthia Gale) and our friend Phillip Stevens did the video recording on August 19th.
Tanya edited the video for us that night!
Our dresses were made by Mom and Christina.

*We plan to do an epic music video to this song next year! Stay tuned!*

Lament of the Highborne by GaleSong (Blizzcon 2013 Talent Contest)

Our entry for Blizzcon's 2013 Talent Contest.

We did the singing and made all the costumes and jewelry. Mom and Phillip (our friend) did the videography. Tanya put everything together and worked her magic to create the video.

Pictures from the Party!!!

Thanks again to everyone who helped make our Pre-Screening Party a success!

We had a wonderful program, delicious popcorn, incredible friends and family, and an amazing video. What a fantastic night.

Oooh! Look at those red shoes! Could those be a foreshadowing of something to come?

What a lovely group of supporters!

The Program and Popcorn.

We had a few speeches: Christina Gale Borrowman "Welcome and History of GaleSong", Keith Borrowman II "History of World of Warcraft Franchise and Lore", Tiffany Gale "Why I Chose 'Lament of the Highborne'", Michael Coones "High Points and Challenges Behind the Making of the Video", Natalie Gale "Being Sylvanas", and Tanya Gale "Thank You's, Sneak Preview of Our Next Project".

We watched a few videos: Pre-Screening of "Lament of the Highborne", "Making of", and "Bloopers".

We snacked on delicious popcorn made by Cynthia Gale and Samuel Gale-Hess.

Another Contest! Lament of the Highborne Talent Contest - Singing

Today we did a mini music video shoot. This one is for the Blizzard Talent Contest (our other video shoot is for the Blizzard Movie Contest). We did our own makeup, setup the cameras, and Mom and Phillip did the filming.

Here's a sneak peak of the pics; more to come tomorrow!

GaleSong with Mom; she did most of the video while carrying Christina's baby girl in a sling. That takes talent folks!
